Beautiful butterflies to blustery blizzards

Just last week Gretchen and I brought the babes to Fredrick Meijer to see the butterflies and it was a LOVELY afternoon. Today, I am trying not to freeze and hauling out the space heater we just put away. Stupid Michigan weather. Mark says, April blizzards bring May lizards. Here are some interesting pictures of Caleb's (and my!) first trip to the gardens.

My favorite part of the trip was that Gretchen was scared that a butterfly might land on her. But she kept saying that she really wanted a butterfly to land on one of the kids, because it would make a cute picture!
Here's my thug son with his hat on side wise. He is such a cool dude. I like how this picture looks like the two children were just abandoned on the side of the road. Where are the moms?!

Oh here they are... looking so great! Why do we both have our mouths slightly open? I think we were politely laughing at the lady who was taking our picture. She was a bit odd. She was also covered with butterflies. That's why Gretchen looks so scared.

What fun to go on a Spring outing to see butterflies! The babies are adorable as always! It's so fun to see them grow up together. It brings back memories of Mark growing up with his cousin, Crystal. My sister, Gloria and I would take our kids together places too. Have a wonderful Easter. See you soon. Love, Grandma Carol
