Last Monday afternoon we took a family trip to the John Ball Zoo. Lucky for us Caleb was still free because zoo tickets cost $7.50. We were outraged. But we paid anyway. The first exotic and very cool thing that Caleb noticed at the zoo was the DUCK! (which was floating in the flamingo pond- but flamingo's are nothing compared to ducks).

Here we are in the Australian Outback after we got to see Wallabies up close. We even got to touch the pelt of one!

This turkey was close enough to touch. We did touch a goat.

This look of awe is for none other than a HUGE grizzly bear!

The snow leopard was really cool. He was sitting right in front of us. We even saw him yawn and heard him sneeze.

Too bad the monkeys were all just snoozing!

Here we are with John Ball himself. This is the traditional John Ball picture that you MUST take every time you enter the zoo.
