The Most Traumatic Experience

Here is our sweet little girl in the hospital. Wednesday, Anneliese was just not herself and when I checked her temperature it was 102.7. I called the doctor and was told to come in. I called Mark home from work and we went in. The doctor sent us to the emergency room so she could have tests to rule out anything serious. The tests were so traumatic. For Anneliese and for her mom and dad. It is pretty much routine to admit young babies to the hospital when they come in with a fever. So there we were, for two days. Thankfully they were able to rule out all of the serious stuff and they let us go home Friday morning. She has been doing much better, though she was still running a low fever until today. Here's Caleb talking to her while she lays in her crib. He missed us while we were in the hospital.

So glad Anneliese is better. We were all praying for her back in Minnesota! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Love, Grandma Carol
