He Is Risen

I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter. We had a really awesome service. The worship team did such a great job of putting together all of the special numbers and videos and even a great drama. It was a bit of a crazy morning for me, getting everybody ready by myself as Mark had to work, but we ended up looking okay and even being on time! Whoa. Of course, I was aiming to make the breakfast, so on time is sort of a relative term. But we were on time for the service!

After church and Bible Hour, we went out to Aunt Gloria's house for supper and Easter Egg fun! Here is an overview of our day:

Betsy, Aubree, Nick (my cousin), Uncle Bill (my dad's bro), Caleb, Anneliese and ITwo cute kiddos

Anneliese and I enjoyed watching the Easter Egg hunt. But I didn't bring anything to hold her in, so she got a little heavy!
Caleb loved finding Easter Eggs! He was running all over the woods.
The victorious hunters!
Counting out candy. Caleb found 27 eggs.
Betsy was angry. She only found 15.
Then we dyed Easter eggs. We made a "Mr. Happy" Easter Egg. Every smiley face is now "Mr. Happy" thanks to Aunt Carrie's Mr. Happy shirt.
Best buds.

He is Risen Indeed! I enjoyed your Easter pictures and your Easter clothes! You must have had fun finding the eggs and goodies in them. I colored eggs with Carrie and Denise on Saturday. I will email you a picture later. I miss you and look forward to our visit in May. Love, Grandma Carol
