Paterson, NJ

This summer Mark and I (and our kids) had the opportunity to take a missions trip to Paterson, NJ for 10 days. We were able to do Kids Games (sort of like VBS) at a women's shelter in Paterson. There were 24 kids there. We also participated in several different work projects. Here we are waiting for some REALLY cool fireworks over the Hudson. Mark is eating a piece of fuzz in this picture. It was a dare. Gross.
Very cool Mark.

This is on Saturday after a week of working. Lester Holt. THE Lester Holt. Mark shook his hand. (By the way, when Caleb was looking at these pictures earlier he reminded me SEVERAL times "Mommy and Daddy were on TV!")

Clair holding Anneliese at Kids Games.
Mark giving instructions for one of his fantastic games. Notice how the kids are in total awe of him.
